I'm guessing a few of these guys will end up playing with their normal summer league travel teams, some probably waiting for the draft, but I've found a few guys who are already playing for college summer ball teams.
Anybody got more info?

His mom told us at the game last Monday (him playing for the Bend Elks). She was taking pictures in front of us and introduced herself.

So Bobby Peirce, the Auburn RF, who is now in Omaha, and who threw out Gretler at homeplate in Game 2 of the OSU - Auburn series. is playing 2022 summer ball in Oregon? That's surprising. He'd be an Auburn Junior next season. Is he planning to go transfer portal & continue college ball in Oregon?...or is this just a nice summer vacation? btw, he played 5 games for the Bend Elks way back in 2019. |

That's his plan....he's from Scottsdale, AZ so I don't think that Bend Oregon is a foreign territory to him. Probably want's to escape the temperature and humidity in Alabama.

Kennel had two base hits in his first three at bats for the Knights last night. Parker talked about the amount of time Ely spent in the batting cage with his dad,and his lifetime love of beaver baseball.

Ian Lawson is showing on the Knight's roster.
Freshman OF Aiden Dougherty from Mt.Si, WA. is playing for the Yakima Valley Pippens in the WCL.
It looks like we have about 10 or 11 playing in the West Coast Collegiate this year but the rosters are still making late additions.

Bobby Peirce was also the cleanup hitter. He hit a home run in game one and doubled Sonny D over in the sixth inning of game three. Peirce actually scored what turned out to be the Super Regional winning run in the sixth. Peirce is a redshirt junior, so I believe that he would be a redshirt senior next year, unless he gets a sixth year for missing most of 2021 and the first couple weeks of 2022. Peirce was a golfer, who decided to go to South Mountain to play baseball. Auburn recruited him, while Oregon State was distracted with dealing with things like Susac enrolling at Arizona. With the possible outfield situation next year, Peirce would be a great add. |

They will be busy with him in fall practice, far from a polished performer but the bat plays. |

Predictable. Hasn't he played SS at SCHS ?
The scouting reports I've seen all project him in the infield.
