Pitch Count?

First... thanks for the "block"... again sort of nullifies your whiner thread about being bullied and you have no part, or wonder the why?? Because the block on the site doesn't work and I have to read your attacks and harassment anytime you are quoted. I don't have the ability to ignore it.

Actual calling out BS has to do with everyone. The above highlights show really how much BS you spew. Calling BS on everyone is called being toxic. Criticality is fine but if you can't keep it in your head then you are an awful person. You may not be that way in all aspects of your life but you sure as heck are here. I actually did look through the games played and pointed out that OSU has won and lost games with a lower and higher pitch counts. I looked through all the games too. I actually looked through 3 years of games. Now I want to look through the 48 games between the best 32 teams in the top teams in the country. I will make excel sheets and everything cause its fun to me. See I am doing this out of curiousity and for fun, not to prove someone wrong. If you are only looking up data to prove people wrong you are a psycho.

I didn't get definitive results so I extended the breadth of my enquiry to more complicated analysis, that's not a crime or BS its just how inquiry works. I haven't done it yet and frankly I don't care what you think about it. I'm doing it cause I am interested. I am posting it cause other data dorks might think its neat too or come up with other ideas.

IF you really had a BS in NE Prove I don't you weirdo. Why the hell would someone fake having a Nuclear Engineering degree from Oregon State? This come from your experience on to catch a predator and catfish? you'd know stuff like a correlation is the study of TWO variables at a time and how one may or may not effects the other. There is literally a field of study in statistics called correlations in complex systems. Its 100% about bias, making correlations between more than 2 variables. If you go past basic calculus in math you will start dealing with complex systems where you are solving for many variables at once. The same thing is done it statistics to find correlation in non-linear systems to make a model of prediction. The world is maybe just not as simple as you think it is.

Did you miss the part of the thread at the very start? Instead of chasing you around the forums I considered if you and judge had a point and asked a question. See that is literally me thinking, "Wow I might not know, I should find out" and then doing something about it. Maybe you should consider if you are ever wrong about anything? Idk it might break your whole world view so maybe do it in the safety of therapy or something. Oh btw getting help with your mental health isn't a bad thing, its a good thing. You did make fun of my 'demons' in that first thread where I lost my chill so I just though you should know that its okay to get help. Its not just okay its being responsible. So lets see...yeah I say stuff on internet boards based on opinion and small amount of research...cause its an online forum not a research symposium or important AT ALL. Idk if you disproved this one or not. Our offense was better against Friday pitchers with Wheeler in the lineup. All you have to do is look at the scores at that point then look at the scores after. We scored more. If you want to dig into it and look at quality of pitchers and do some complex comparison good for you. Wheeler is a good hitter and good at getting on base, not sure what the basis is that he doesn't make us better. Or did he disagree with you one time so you just chase him around calling him out for BS too? I didn't read whatever you posted about it and I'm not going to cause you suck, anything you have to say that may be interesting someday is completely over powered by you sucking.

 -analysis of data doesn't leave out data unless you're one with a confirmation bias and chose to do so. All data analysis and data has bias. You can't even measure anything without bias because there is inherent bias in the units you use. Here's  a couple 100,000 papers on it.

And, you're again gaslighting. This thread exists because you made me feel crazy about my argument and doubt my world view. Then I got curious. You gaslighted me into a curious inquiry.

I used the wrong word because this is a sports forum and a thread about baseball so the language seemed more fitting. 

-causation is exactly the assertion you made. And causation is in no way a false if done correctly; Oh really? You really thing there has never been a false cause and effect relationship published by experts? The world is literally grinding along on a raft of false causality all the time. We barely understand how the universe works past Newtonian physics so its kinda hard to think we have the answers down perfect? -we do know... in games ALREADY played OSU and opponents have won and lost games with pitch counts higher and lower. And many totals have an statistically insignificant difference; That doesn't mean pitch count doesn't matter. We have barely explored the effects of pitch count and there's pretty much nothing out there that has past individual pitcher health. We really don't know anything and we don't even know if it matters. Why are you so against the inquiry in the first place its so weird.

Did you just try dunking on me with the most basic definitions? Yeah anyone can look up definitions in a dictionary. There are almost zero 2 variable simple systems in the real world. We try to boil it down to that to make math easier but that doesn't mean your answer is 100%. Correlation and causality also depend on assumptions, constraint and bias. Its complicated and a 5th graders definition isn't gonna do it. Trying to boil baseball wins and losses down to a single relationship is idiotic in scope. All I was saying is pitch count matters over a series cause it gets the higher quality pitchers out of the series. There are millions of variables in baseball which is why it is interesting AT ALL. If it wasn't complex it would just be pong, that's a video game on Atari not an insult. 

Maybe I'm being an ass, but to callout a poser and hypocrite is well worth it. I have a sort of disability too, I don't suffer fools well, especially those that keep digging to prove just how much so. You seriously undervalue the worth of your life if you spend it that way. Insulting people isn't worth anything. Its a defense mechanism that we use but if you find worth in it then you have serious issues. Find worth in building things, growing things, improving the world, reaching out a helping hand, discovering something new, finding new thoughts and sharing experience...not being a stalker. Oh and seriously f%#* you. Being insufferable is not a disability and that's an insult to everyone who has one. Idk your story but if you consider that a disability you wouldn't last a week in my shoes before you ate a bullet. baseba111, scubasteve, rgeorge are all the same person. This is his third account after being banned and allowed to come back. It's too bad because he does provide good analysis/information at times. He just never lets anything go if he thinks he's right. Do a search for "skull cap" and you'll see what you're dealing with. Your best bet is to do your best to just ignore him.
