Mike Lusky called the Saturday Oregon State-Washington game that Kmatz pitched. The Beavers beat the Huskies 8-0. Lusky calls AAA games, Cactus League games, and Big West, Pac-12 and WAC games. Thanks, had I known that before I decided to go for a 3 mile run out of frustration, I would maybe have a better chance of walking tomorrow once I get out of bed. In the mind of this biased Beaver baseball fan, Mr. Lusky had a bad night. Way to channel your frustrations into a positive and healthy activity though! World would be a better place by atleast 3 miles If we all got mad and just went for a jog.

I'm with 56 on the pathetic and biased. HP ump was consistently bad, with the width of the zone being slightly narrower for cats bats. Meckler's first AB was a horrible call, but his 3rd AB strike 3 was downright deplorable. In theory both teams need to adjust to the zone, but I call BS on that. Make it computerized and it will be "right" from the start. Give the ump one of those Altuve endorsed buzzers, and he gets it correct every time. No more "adjusting" to the zone, and a seamless unnoticeable transition. I would actually love to see a post game review week where every Ump was compared to the computers and yeeted. It’s just a fact that humans could NEVER compete in that form of precision judgement. Pretty sure it would only take acouple innings of live review with a ‘you blew it’ light for everyone to boot blue and endorse the computer overlord.

Blue behind the plate was pathetic and biased....Period. Pathetic helps the team that does not generally manage the strike zone as well as one that does. Biased helps the cats. Pac-12 has to be able to do better than that. If you recorded the game, just watch Mecklers first at bat. Surely it was an indication of things to come. Pitch he got called out on was probably wide of Greg Street territory. That’s exactly the report I wanted. Thanks. It makes sense, seeing as how our pitchers are suddenly giving up record numbers of walks. ?? OSU walked (3) for the game. They average 2.34/game.

Ask and you shall receive, at least for Major League Baseball. This is just one report card for one game, but there is one for every game.

I know they always have the box up on broadcasts, just don’t really enjoy the majors. Are they just slowly back stepping into getting rid of umps? What’s the fan reaction? Oh google answered some of my questions. It’s not put out by the MLB. Awfully interesting though. The impact on the game is really the critical thing. Direct effect of ump error which should be zero.

Parker was not griping. Sheesh we just got beat. Not like Balls were in the opposite batting box. Sometimes the other team pitches better. It was 1 to 1. We had few chances. Today will be different.
