Puke hit have em 2_more. Making contact with runners on is something we should try more often. I think this post belongs on the LSU board. Nobody here speaks Cajun. Maybe the Purdue guy can translate.

Well, we expected Arizona to hit and to put up a good fight. They have done that.
Regroup and get the win tomorrow.

Game Notes: Beavs lead pitch count 129-154 Gretler, Meckler, Smith and, Trosky fail to reach base. Forrestor, Fuches, Guerra, Melton more or less held in check with 4 hits and 1 walk between them. Bazzana goes hog wild with 2 hits, 2 walks including a heroically timed triple. Feels like Bazzana is figuring it out again for sure. Kmatz went a full 6 and 87 pitches. Really solid night of good location pitching and using his defense.
National Stage:
#1 TN, #2 OSU, #3 OkayState, #4 Arkansauce, #5 VTech, #6 Miami, #7 Louisville, #13 CT, #14 SMiss, #17 LSU, #21 FSU all have atleast one loss.
#8 Stanford, #9 TexTech, #10 Texas Ag,#15 Texas State, #16 Catholics, #18 Maryland, #19 UC Barb, #20 Auburn, #23 UCLA, #25 GCU go into Sunday with a sweep possible.
Notes: #11 Gonzaga in extras against Santa Clara #12 Virginia is perfect through only 1 game #22 who knows who it is on break? #24 someone or something on break?

Delayed chlorinated pool dehydration. It takes 48 hours to manifest.
By tomorrow noon we'll be back at full hydration.

They are not a better pitching team than us. Tonight was an outlier. I see us putting up runs tomorrow to take the series.

2 positives. Travis B I think is back. Kmatz pitched very decently. From the obvious, the top 5 guys in the order can be dealt with when any of those top 5 are missing.

Parker complaining about the zone. Is that so? What are you guys seeing? Blue behind the plate was pathetic and biased....Period. Pathetic helps the team that does not generally manage the strike zone as well as one that does. Biased helps the cats. Pac-12 has to be able to do better than that. If you recorded the game, just watch Mecklers first at bat. Surely it was an indication of things to come. Pitch he got called out on was probably wide of Greg Street territory.

Mike Lusky called the Saturday Oregon State-Washington game that Kmatz pitched. The Beavers beat the Huskies 8-0. Lusky calls AAA games, Cactus League games, and Big West, Pac-12 and WAC games.

That’s exactly the report I wanted. Thanks. It makes sense, seeing as how our pitchers are suddenly giving up record numbers of walks.

Thanks, had I known that before I decided to go for a 3 mile run out of frustration, I would maybe have a better chance of walking tomorrow once I get out of bed. In the mind of this biased Beaver baseball fan, Mr. Lusky had a bad night.

I'm with 56 on the pathetic and biased. HP ump was consistently bad, with the width of the zone being slightly narrower for cats bats. Meckler's first AB was a horrible call, but his 3rd AB strike 3 was downright deplorable. In theory both teams need to adjust to the zone, but I call BS on that. Make it computerized and it will be "right" from the start. Give the ump one of those Altuve endorsed buzzers, and he gets it correct every time. No more "adjusting" to the zone, and a seamless unnoticeable transition.
