The O's are home with the Guardians today and Adley and Kwan each have three hits so far. The surprising thing is that all of Adley's 3 hits were infield singles. You don't see that from a catcher. By the way, Adley just got his 4th hit (out of the infield this time) He really motored on the one hit, enabling Santander to hit a two-run HR. |

Boyd started the year hurt. He just started playing six days ago. Boyd's home run was his first extra base hit this year and his first in more than nine months. |

Conforto 4x4 tonight, with an absolute bomb, to deepest center in Milwaukee. He has three homers and eight hits in his last four games. Cubs send Madrigal down to Iowa. He needs a change of scenery, Cubs are stacked in the infield. The Cubs recalled Madrigal from Iowa. Madrigal slashed .488/.580/.854 with six doubles, three triples, and a home run in 11 games in Iowa. Madrigal has not done that for the Cubs since returning. |

Larnach on 10-day IL, retroactive to May 22. Larnach was on the 10-day with pneumonia. He was on a rehab stint in St. Paul and came off the 10-day on the sixth. The Twins just sent Larnach back down to St. Paul yesterday. |

Madrigal hasn't quite gotten back to form since his injury. He hit well in MLB in 2020 and 2021 in limited action. Just hasn't done as well with the Cubbies. He really needs to be traded. Playing 3B is not where he excels. |

Hitting .418 across A+ and AA. .364 at Richmond.
If he keeps this up, he'll be in Sacramento by Labor Day.

Nick is up to .277, with four doubles in his last six games. He's hit in 7 straight games, and 9 of 10. He is a MLB player, he just needed to get back into the lineup every day.
