Not just showers but steady even heavy rain for Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Never have seen an entire series rained out but this could be it. My Friday ticket might not get used, except as a book mark, sigh.

Last year's final game at Washington was moved to Monday due to rain. That's true. My one concern is that Oregon has both a Tuesday and Wednesday midweek game against UC San Diego next week. I am not sure, if Oregon would agree to play games on five consecutive days.

I can understand why the ucks would rather play uc San Diego than us but if games need to be cancelled shouldn't it be a nonleague game?

With an all turf field, the surface won’t be the issue. How much in-game rain does it take? Hopefully we get lucky with some breaks during game time.

They can play until bats starting flying because hitters can’t hold on or pitchers can’t grip the ball. Gentle rain is fine. A downpour will not work.

Weather app now showing thunderstorms at 4, 5, and 6. Sigh. No way can they play with thunderstorms in the area. I'm hoping for a DH on Saturday, and that they don't wait until game time to cancel Fridays game. Omaha isn't the only place that has to deal with weather delays. We have had DH's in past years, because of rain. I'm perfectly ok with beating the hell out of the ducks on Saturday, rather then Friday. GO BEAVS! DDD!!

As well as when water drips off the brim of the batters helmet. I saw a MLB game go into a rain delay because the home plate umpire noticed how often the batter was wiping the helmet brim before getting back into the batters box as the drips were a distraction.

You don't want to start a Friday night game you can't finish and essentially waste both team's No. 1 starters.
