We need better production out of the bottom of the order. A different DH. Smith is young and has Pop. The bottom of the order doesn't do squat. Most of them are automatic outs.

Just so you know. Verburg in his last 3 games(Long Beach St, Gonzaga, & Washington) has pitched 5.2 innings, 0 runs, 2 hits, 1 bb, with 8 K's. You might want to wait till he sucks again, to say oh s%#t. Yea I know what he's done. I've seen it, and I'm happy he's turned it around......he still makes me nervous, but the feeling is fading with each good inning!

That 2nd strike to the last duck had 6 inches of tail back over the plate. I hadn’t seen that from Mitch V. Very nice inning. LOVED that changeup! Wow. Don't remember him throwing that much before...but YES PLEASE!

Great job, MitchV. Thought he had lost command with the walk. The biggest difference might be mental though getting the secondary pitches close has also helped. Impressive

O/U @7 and it might not (better not) even be for the total scored. Surprised...

Impressive I think it's all mental with Mitch. He seems to be able to pitch out of trouble now, which is definitely something he didn't do earlier when he was struggling

Double play anyone?...not sure about sending a guy up to bat who has no hits on the year with one on, one out when you are down two runs. BEAVS WIN! Give this team credit, they gutted out a win when there were plenty of opportunities to squander that one. Well done!

I get where you're coming from, his 3 games against Cal, Nevada, & Stanford were brutal. His stuff still isn't where it was at in 2019, but he's been better lately which should be acknowledged.
