So how are we setting up pitching? We leaving Cooper at Friday the series before, and then not pitching him in the tourney until Friday there as well? Or do we move him to Thursday the series before and then to Wednesday for the 1st game of tourney. I'm guessing you will be going up against a #1 pitcher on whoever we play on Wednesday since they will be playing to win the whole tournament and get a birth in the NCAA tourney.

I'm guessing you will be going up against a #1 pitcher on whoever we play on Wednesday since they will be playing to win the whole tournament and get a birth in the NCAA tourney. Usually, you start your mid-week guy in game one and ace in game two. Game three is your Saturday starter. Hopefully, game four is the Championship Game on Sunday, and you throw your Sunday starter. And that sets you up for the Regional. If you play more games, that general plan can go a little awry, and you need to fit in a fifth starter somewhere. But that is usually the general plan going in in a Conference Tourney.
