Forrester got hit on his hand during a plate appearance early in the game. I think he's not 100%. Not a great reason to walk to first. I missed the Forrester lack of hustle play. What happened? |

Towering fly ball and he just sauntered to 1st instead of hustling. Ofc the outfielder dropped it. Mitch pulled him for Gretler immediately.

Tonight may be the last game a few of those Beaver pitchers will pitch this season. Actually, I'm more disappointed that our bats couldn't keep up. Their pitchers weren't aces. We should have been able to rally and keep the game close. Some of the pitchers showed some possibility. I like Thorsteinson coming in with bases loaded and no outs and getting us out of the jam without a run scored. Hibbard pitched well for 2 innings. None of them are ready to step forward yet unfortunately. |

I wasn't watching the game, just listening and I didn't hear Parker say anything. But either way, yeah, if your hand hurts too much to hustle down to first, then take yourself out of the game. |

5 spot drop in RPI with the loss...hurts top 8 seed chances pretty hard. Loss tomorrow could eliminate the possibility without Pac12 reg season championship

Lost it in high, light night sky above the lights. Never saw it and ball dropped about 5 feet on front of him. Easy double. |

Loss tomorrow could eliminate the possibility without Pac12 reg season championship 13-6 with a Semifinal or better finish in the Pac-12 Tournament just about sows up a top 8 seed. In my opinion, Oregon State's two wins in Surprise are much more meaningful than the games in Goss today and tomorrow. The 3-13 teams are really bunched. I believe that Oregon State fell a spot before the game due to earlier results. The loss dropped the Beavers four spots. Had Oregon State won, the Beavers would have jumped to third. RPI, man. If Oregon State wins tomorrow, they likely jump five spots in RPI. If they lose, they likely fall three. If they lose two, they really need to sweep Washington. If they do that, the Beavers are still looking great for a top 8 finish. 2-1 may start calling a top 8 finish into doubt. 1-2 would be problematic. |
