RBI Single in his second AB, so 1 for 1 and a walk and an RBI Edit: whoops just reading teh boxscore I assumed rbi single, beavaristotle has it right. Single then a sac fly. Does anyone know if Kwan has a swing and a miss yet?? Guardians pitcher also just had his no hitter broken up on a double to Kwan. EVERYTHING REVOLES AROUND STEVEN!  |

RBI Single in his second AB, so 1 for 1 and a walk and an RBI No, he had a BB, a SF, and then a single.......no RBI single. Got his RBI on the sac fly. |

So just how great was that 2018 NCAA BB champion Beaver team? We won the championship series vs Arkansas with Kwan essentially out with a pulled hamstring...and Madrigal playing hurt.

He was pitching great until the Super Regional. I personally think that he got hurt or was just dead tired after the Super Regional. He threw 124 pitches after coming out and throwing on an NCAA short week (he threw Saturday in the Regional and then Friday in the Super Regional). Heimlich going 8.2 innings was also wildly unnecessary. He threw 107 pitches to go 8.1 innings. He then spent 17 wildly unnecessary pitches to get the second out in the ninth. He could have gone out at the beginning of the ninth or with one out and been fine I think. After that, Heimlich was never the same. |
