i finally thought of a former Beav with coaching experience, but he’s not all that young… Andy McClousky. Probably not him. Andy is older than I am. But it is another Lebanon connection.

Though not officially announced it looks like the new coach has made some updates to their social media accounts. I'm guessing the last name may jog a few memories. twitter.com/TESnation

Is he related to the famous OSU player from the mid/early 70's?

Playing the If/Then game... If Tim Shelton Then Braxton Meah? Unless Fresno St. had an all-American center Meah was sitting behind, that would be a very underwhelming use of the final scholarship.

He was basically behind this guy and expected to be for another 2 years if he doesn't go Pro. Robinson is expected to be a late first to middle 2nd round draft pick if he turns pro this year. Not a bad player to be sitting behind. A big guy is high on my wish list. If Andela comes back better than ever, we've got him for a year (does he get an extra?). Mariol has loads of potential, and loads of risk as far as leg health goes. I would love to have both just crush it for the remainder of their time here, but having a kid would potentially meet or better the performance of a healthy Big G or Silva to be right behind them and eligible for three years would be terrific. Take a look at Meah's offers - AZ/ ASU/UW/Clemson/UTEP/VT and his late season stats and he could have a lot of potential. I don't hold a lot of high hopes for getting the best available big in the country, but maybe (depending on how he felt about Shelton if he were to come here) we'd have a shot at him. There's a slot for a Big player right now with a lot of opportunities for PT the next 3 years. This kid is arguably more polished than Johan's kid (who I wouldn't mind see coming in here as a backup either) and I'd like to see a big come in to be around for a few years.

Yeah Orlando Robinson is an absolute stud. Who Meah was behind does matter. We get all the boise st games here. So I saw Robinson on tv several times against them. I assure ya all he’s the real deal and then some

A young assistant who has been in highly successful programs and with experience recruiting. Shelton, if he is actually on board, would be the best "recruit" since the "sons". Maybe even a coach in waiting if WT can't get this new group to jell. If he can convince Meah to sign it'd be a double bonus. The kid is not only long, solidly built, but mobile and athletic with (3) years and a RS remaining. I'm, sorry to the Silva fans that may lurk, but a huge upgrade over Roman as a complete player and a season to develop before his last two seasons with a young core. Best news for the MBB program in a while... IF one or both comes to pass.
