I’ve been critical of Verburg, but I am laying off. I feel sorry for him, his arm never came back. Tough break but time to move on.

Someone mentioned after the first game if the coaches would learn anything. I’m not so sure in the pitching side.

He has totally lost his breaking ball, can't locate it, and he has velo (94), but can only put it down the middle . So it is easy for the batters to just wait for that juicy center cut FB |

But he has completely lost any feel for a breaking ball, and location. Everything is straight down the pipe or an obvious ball, smh. It's a sad development for Verburg, but the Beavs have given him enough chances to figure it out. Time for him to not be used for a while. |
