With 4 walks. That’s a .500 OBP, which is outstanding for any lead off hitter. Have no dog in this fight but not sure your calculating correctly. Now back to watching Beavs flounder Should be .400. Typing too fast. Still good |

So far, none of the pitchers from the pen have demonstrated that they should see the mound on the weekend. I don't want them out there in mid week games either. This is a crappy performance by coaches(pulling Melton for a .190 hitter) and the bullpen. This bullpen puts out small fires with a fire hose connected to a gasoline tank. |

Your idea of “outstanding” is weak, imo. So getting on base half the time is bad? OK Sunday he went 1 for 6 with no walks. Wednesday against Seattle he went 0 for 4 with no walks. Isn’t that a lot of opportunities with very, very little to show for it? |
