Martin should for certain be a POI in the portal. Scott and Jonas spent a lot of time recruiting and evaluating her, so you'd think that if we want her, we'd have a chance.
She's a combo-guard and is more comfortable handling the ball then Greta and AJ are. As a sophomore at Utah, she averaged 11.1 PPG (.378 FG, .330 3FG, .586 FT) and had a 35:52 A:TO ratio and was All-Pac-12 HM. Not great stats, but I think she's a pretty solid fit in the OSU system and I think she has the potential to be a better shooter than she's shown at Utah.
She didn't play this year due to injury so she has three years of eligibility (one of which is due to COVID).

Martin played in 6 games this season, never got remotely close to getting on track, I would assume because of injury.

When she was in high school, I suspected that, if she were going to leave her home state, we'd get her. She was the number 42 recruit in 2019. I think we'd be a good fit for her, and she for us. I'd definitely like to see this happen.

A 35-52 assist-to-turnover ratio isn't exactly a great endorsement for solid point-guard play. And do you want a 57% free-throw shooter on the floor at crunch time?

Well, she's not a point guard, but I agree with your comments. I do think Kemery could help the Beavs, but I'm hoping they can do better. It remains to be seen if they can. Two really good guards/wings would make the Beavs tough to handle.

That's about what Tea and Emily shot from the free throw line. Adams and Codding had far superior assist-to-turnover ratios. And Codding finished some games but I don't remember Adams being on the floor very much late in the 4th quarter. Others who follow this team far more closely than I do might know more.

Kemery Martin isn't the only guard leaving Utah. Brynna Maxwell is on her way out as well, and should draw a lot of interest from someone. She's from Gig Harbor, so perhaps a NW school would be where she wants to land. I'd watch Washington on this one. She has already graduated, but still has two years to play. She hit 68 3's this year at a .380 clip, and in 2019-2020, she hit 83 3's with a .472 3pt percentage. Excellent free throw shooter as well. Definitely a POI for Beaver and Pac-12 fans to keep an eye on.

I've always like Maxwell, and have read before that Brynna is centered on her faith--which seems like a good fit with OSU's WBB player makeup.

Another Utah player in the portal. Dru Gylten just announced. She is saying she wants to get closer to home.

Gylten is a pretty good PG, but it sounds like she’s headed to South Dakota or South Dakota State. Scott spoke highly of her in his press conference.

And again...Kat Tudor got so screwed over by the NCAA.

Not that she's a likely target for OSU, but high scoring Buffalo guard Dyaaha Fair is in the portal. Obvious speculation is she will follow her coach to Syracuse.
