Bad 1st Quarter. My main reaction: I feel sorry for Taya. Hopefully by the end of the 4th, I won't be feeling that way. Lotsa time left. My secondary reaction: there's something wrong with the Beavs. Yeah, we're not hitting open shots. 0-5 from 3. |

Our passing and dribbling leaves a *ton* to be desired. Taya is playing the three and looks like she has never dribbled a ball before.
Talia was seemingly having a turnover every possession.
Codding plays hard, but it’s disappointing that we’ve had to turn to her to play PG.
Two highly impactful guards from the portal is a must to make the tourney next year.

I know I'll get "crushed" as there are a ton here that think very, very highly of TVO, but...
This is like 6 or more games in a row she seems slow, doesn't move her feet on D, doesn't hustle back on D. She's out of shape, doesn't care, I've got no idea. But she's definitely not contributing on both ends. Partly because SR is not going to let her see the floor with this effort.
Severely outplayed by a former walk on who looks to play as hard as she can every possession! Nice.

Are you here? I didn't assert that was the case if you read closely. But, if you're here in person and have watched this team in person. Her effort at times can certainly be interpreted as such. It's not rocket science why she sits so much, yet she hasn't seemed to figure it out. She should be the best player on this court tonight. If she's hurt badly enough to give this type of effort she shouldn't be playing. And sitting to start the 3rd... |
