Be mindful of what you post because whatever you intended to say will be misunderstood and WW III will break out in Benny's House. OSU has 3 very good catchers in their program. Logan and Smith have been exceptional through 12 games and redshirt Wilson Weber needs to be mentioned in the same sentence. Vibes from Goss say he has the best arm of the bunch with big "pop" in his bat. There was no purpose in playing him this year - preserving a year of eligibility made sense. Watching Logan gun down base runners may give pause to the statement about Weber's arm strength but that is the word coming out of the program.

If you have been doing much reading, you've seen many writers mention the Transfer of Claunch as a serious loss, a heavy blow, how would we replace him, etc. Suffice it to say, I was in total disagreement with that. Troy is fine young man, a leader and had a good career at OSU - it was not my intention to slight him in any way but rather offer a response to the "Oh ain't it awful, you lost Claunch" nonsense.

No, it ain't awful and I really like what the Beavers have catching this year. I do not in any way think the Beavers are suffering over Troy's transfer. Logan has been good for a long time, injuries have hindered his progress. I suspect the Coaches are working hard with him on recognition and getting his barrel on plane. With those improvements, he could show us frequent 3 and 4 hit games.
