Serious questions.
1 Recruit athleticism. 2. Open up the system. Allow freedom. 3.Possibly change some assistants. 4.Spedd at point guard. 5. Honestly evaluate shortcomings. I want what most want. A good team with quality people. I really feel we are not very close to being efficient. So I have followed but not watched. Bugs Me to see Oregon win . Sorry about turnovers comments but I believe every possession is important. I also believe Pressure Basketball is far more successful. It gains You more possessions.

Well. Not a serious response. I do not have to watch to look at stats. I know basketball. If You think all is well than say so. Don’t waste your time with junk Nile insults. This is a Basketball program that has fallen backwards.

I think we have good athletes, but I don't think we have great ball handlers, especially on the perimeter. Via the portal, we need to go after perimeter ball handlers who can break down their defender, create mismatches, and be able to convert at the rim. That is missing from this current squad. And if such players do exist in the portal, my hope is we can get players with multiple years of eligibility.

I think by allowing our youth to mature and work with our incoming great class. That will be the main fixer. While I believe pressure basketball can work. Its not the only style that works. I think another off season our 3 guards will have caught up to the speed of the game. I think Kennedy improves on offense in the off season. I think Taylor heals. I think mitrovic gains more speed. I think next year we have 7 playable underclass scorers and 2 juniors. I think thr next 3 years are gonna be the best in program history.

I have been a passionate fan. I will not watch bad basketball. Be it strategy or execution. Does not diminish my opinion. I will watch when they are fun to watch. Destiny was fun to watch. Since that time our record speaks for itself. No excuses.

Speed. Play faster.
Fast breaks were extremely rare this year.
Reduce back to the basket post ups from 10+ a game to less than 5.
Pass the ball up the floor and stop walking it up.
I think we've had to slow the game down to a pace the works for TVO and tried to change later in the season but it didn't seem to work.

They will be better next season. Good recruiting classes + player development. Should be more competitive in conference. Jones back......a really quick PG would be nice.
Furd has an all time team this season, and last. And overall, the conference is super deep, and talented. We'll be back.

Bring in a point guard (at least one, preferably two) with good speed and quickness, passing skills and a good enough handle to break pressure off the dribble. End any reliance on using TVO at the point. She is not a good fit there. Someone posted that she is "very slow." I wouldn't go so far as to say that, but she does not show anything more than average speed at best for a SG, much less a PG. I think some on this board tend to overrate TVO based primarily on her scoring ability. Yes, she can hit 3s with great range, has a very good midrange shot and can use strength to get to the hoop in a halfcourt set. She can rebound and can be a decent passer and decent defender. She is mistake-prone at times. To his credit, Rueck seems to want to play her more as a SG overall, with some switches once the Beavers are in their half-court set. Aside from the point guard/how to use TVO issues, I would say Rueck needs to step this off-season for some serious self examination. He needs to look at his offensive philosophy and whether or not it really gives the players the best chance of winning at the rate that Rueck's teams (to his credit) did a few years ago. That means getting back to the top three or four spots in the Pac-12 and at least being in the conversation for the title. It means not just making the NCAA Tournament but getting to the Elite Eight or even higher more than once in a decade. It means coming as close to an elite program as possible. Rueck set those bars. I don't blame him for wanting to stick with what worked then to an extent, but the face of women's basketball has changed drastically in the past five years. Rueck needs to figure out what he does and does not need to do to catch up and then bring the program back to a high level while his window of opportunity (recent highly ranked recruiting classes) still exists.

Very nice summary. I would add that TVO has the disadvantage this year of often drawing the best defender or being frequently double teamed. Frequently it seems like someone is semi open and turns down the shot and passes to TVO who is not open. Most interesting is that sometimes TVO gets this pass with 4 seconds left on the shot clock.
Thanks for the nice summary that includes both sides of the issues.

Get our starting center back. That will take a lot of defensive pressure off the outside shooters and improve our center lay up percentage enormously. We make the tourney, IMO, if Taylor is playing 30 minutes a game. Oh, and don't force us to have to play the single most difficult stretch of basketball in the nation down the stretch.

There's a pretty easy answer to how Beaver WBB gets better: 1) Let your underclassmen (women) become upperclassmen. The growth of these players over the next couple years will be huge. Players will develop, they will become accustomed to playing in the Pac-12, and they will learn each other's game. 2) Get Taylor Jones back in the lineup. She's good for double digit scoring and she led the Pac-12 in rebounding last season. 3) Stay healthy 4) Continue to have recruiting classes like the last two 5) Bring in at least one combo guard from the transfer portal who can handle the ball, but also be a scoring threat. 6) To bet better faster, bring in at least 2 transfers who provide scoring punch.
