Starting inside-out Taylor 1 get back 2 further develop post up play Jelena 1 get stronger to own space 2 become a big time post up scorer. I think this is really possible. Kennedy 1 shoot a million mid-range jumpers from a variety of feeds to become a real threat that can punish a team for leaving her open. 2 get stronger to own space 3 become a post up threat when the matchup favors her. I have a hard time seeing her post up many 4s and 5s in this league. But if she can own space and have good footwork, she could surprise.
Freshmen wings and guards 1 better threats from the bigs will help them immensely. Hopefully Reagan adds to this. 2 improve a lot (as is possible to do between freshman and sophomore years.) 3 get a big year out of one or more true freshmen
It would be really nice to get a Dashawn Davis equivalent via the portal. And I bet the coaching staff asks themselves a lot of tough questions in the offseason. I am optimistic the Beavers will get better and earn a decent seed in the NCAA tournament. Call it orange tinted glasses if you like.

We have recruited some good guards the past few years, but none with what I would consider elite quickness or athleticism. HS recruits are generally pretty savvy about choosing a program that best fits their game. I do wonder if SRs half court-controlled system makes it difficult to sign elite athletes who want to play in a system that highlights their quickness and athleticism both offensively and defensively. On the flip side, I can see why SRs half court system would be attractive to posts and forwards.

I think by allowing our youth to mature and work with our incoming great class. That will be the main fixer. While I believe pressure basketball can work. Its not the only style that works. I think another off season our 3 guards will have caught up to the speed of the game. I think Kennedy improves on offense in the off season. I think Taylor heals. I think mitrovic gains more speed. I think next year we have 7 playable underclass scorers and 2 juniors. I think thr next 3 years are gonna be the best in program history. In the 3 seasons between 2014 - 17 OSU went 27 - 5 (16 - 2), 32 - 5 (16 - 2) and 31 - 5 (16 - 2). They won 2 regular season conference titles outright and tied for another one. 3 straight NCAA tourney appearances, second round, sweet 16 and final 4. If they equal or surpass that it will be a hell of a ride.

Serious questions. 1 Recruit athleticism. 2. Open up the system. Allow freedom. 3.Possibly change some assistants. 4.Spedd at point guard. 5. Honestly evaluate shortcomings. I want what most want. A good team with quality people. I really feel we are not very close to being efficient. So I have followed but not watched. Bugs Me to see Oregon win . Sorry about turnovers comments but I believe every possession is important. I also believe Pressure Basketball is far more successful. It gains You more possessions. Can you tell me what assistants you want changed and why? I understand your point of view on the other points, but I’m looking for a reason on this one.

Colorado has been having a good year and people have commented on why have they surpassed OSU in the ratings this year. So I think looking at Buff's vs the Beav's will be useful on "what's wrong with OSU".
Health- Buff's - Had one backup go out. She was good for 15 minutes of decent play. Beav's -Lost their All-Pac12 post and a back up 5/4.
Transfers- Buff's - Lost no one and gained two Pac-12 Starters who became 6th and 8th minutes backups for the Buffs. Beav's - Lost Sasha (starter who is 45th in the country in blocks/game) and Savannah, and gained two players who were 7th and 8th in minutes with them alternating as starters after Jones went down. Neither of these players had played at the Pac-12 level before.
CoVid seniors- Buff's - Their best player stayed an extra year. Beav's - Their best player went on to coaching.
CoVid games- Buff's - Lost playing two games due to CoVid. Beav's - Lost playing four games due to CoVid.
These things add up and do not mean there is "something wrong with the Beav's". If none of these things happen next year and they still have problems then I'd wonder what was up. But being two and a half season's from being undefeated and while under a pandemic doesn't seem time to panic. But things like a faster PG's, I don't care how fast they are. I like ones that can pass w/o TO's and get assists and make some shots. Whether they do this quickly is irrelevant to me.

Osu,if they can add a couple solid portal prospects will be back on track next year. The recruiting class is very good obviously. People keep mentioning needing an athletic point guard. Scott would love to get one,and has tried in the past and will continue to going forward. The difference makers at point don't grow on trees.

Stop whining and let the coaching staff do their jobs.

Well. Not a serious response. I do not have to watch to look at stats. I know basketball. If You think all is well than say so. Don’t waste your time with junk Nile insults. This is a Basketball program that has fallen backwards. So what you’re saying is you are a passionate fan who doesn’t watch the games. Got it. Nah, he's a professional-level coach who never got his change to prove how brilliant he is.

I have been a passionate fan. I will not watch bad basketball. Be it strategy or execution. Does not diminish my opinion. I will watch when they are fun to watch. Destiny was fun to watch. Since that time our record speaks for itself. No excuses. baseba1111, is that you?

The team missed TJ, but she's no AA at this or at any point earlier: Soph... All-Pac-12 honoreePac-12 Defensive Honorable Mention Frosh... Pac-12 All-Freshman TeamPac-12 All-Defensive Media Team All-Pac-12 Honorable Mention Injuries happen, depth needed, complete conjecture on how it would have help the 14-13 record. You truly can't count transfers and health as "how we can improve". They are not in anyone's control. This team needs to better itself athletically and have more talent on the bench. OSU is in the middle 3rd of the conference and will have a tough time climbing into the top third next year. SR is another year of recruiting and experience away from making any serious jump. All then while the top 6-7 teams are doing much sliding, a couple will be even better.

And, Sasha was not a great ball handler. Average, ok for av wing. But, not in terms of running the point consistently. Good attempts at covering. Keep going...

They aren't McDonald's All-Americans? And Talia and Greta weren't? Or KB? No, they weren't college All-Americans ... Talk about "covering."
