Don't see any way around it now. Must sweep next week on the road. One loss and it is iffy looking at what the other bubble teams are doing. Or make a deep run in Vegas is the next option with no room for error there.

I think considering both of those teams solid NCAA NET rankings (Utah 27, Colorado 32) and that we are on the road that 1 win there and 1 win in LV will get us in. Shoot we had to go OT to beat Colorado at home so a split of these 2 games is realistic at best, but I'm thinking a sweep might be out of reach for our team....just my 2 cents.

Should we manage to get that sweep, we'll wind up 5th in conference, so play the 4 seed in Vegas. That could be Oregon, and we'd have a chance to repeat what we did last year - beat 'em in Eugene and then again in Vegas.
Should we win those 3 games, we would, presumably, have beaten 3 tournament teams in a row. We shall see.

Depending on what other bubble teams do, which is always the major factor, we can split these and then need to win at least one in the tourney. Two in the tourney probably locks us in

Gotta be determined, like this BEAV: I like his efficient, multimodal, businesslike approach.

Gotta be determined, like this BEAV: I like his efficient, multimodal, businesslike approach. I believe that is Maple and is a she. We had beavers on the ranch I grew up on, they would dam up the irrigation ditches all the time. We let them because they were making mini lakes that greatly improved the soil. And if you piss one off they can be formidable.

Thanks for the reminder, so I can remember to get it recorded. I think the next three, maybe even four games are must wins if they are going to make the NCAA tournament. The Beavs got the raw end of the deal by not getting to play any of the bottom five teams in the Pac-12 twice, but you have to play the cards you are dealt, and the Beavers losses to Arizona at home, and Arizona State on the road did them in. Both those games should have been wins, as well as the Villanova game. When you lose games you should have won, you have to pay the price. The price this year is winning out if you want to make the tournament. Otherwise, a shot at the NIT may be in the cards......more home games would be nice.

Rueck mentioned recently that TVO spent the night before the Villanova game at the hospital, and that probably had something to do with her not scoring any points. The Beav's really haven't had a lot of luck this season.

Does anybody know how Utah lady’s prepare for there opponent? They have a hand picked group of guys who study to learn the girls team the utes will be playing that week. The guys help their girls team prepare with guys who are physically superior then the Ute girls and know the opponent defense and offense. Never heard of this technique before but sounds interesting. Comments?

Comments? OSU has had a scout men's team for years for the women to scrimmage against.
