Does anybody know how Utah lady’s prepare for there opponent? They have a hand picked group of guys who study to learn the girls team the utes will be playing that week. The guys help their girls team prepare with guys who are physically superior then the Ute girls and know the opponent defense and offense. Never heard of this technique before but sounds interesting. Comments? Might not be every team, but I bet 99% of the teams in the country do this. I know Oregon State does.

I was of the impression that every Pac 12 WBB team had a group of men athletes to practice with and against..... Somebody who knows for sure can fill us in.....
I remember Rueck once saying in an interview that the men's "scrimmage squad" play pretty hard against the WBB Beavs, but the one rule that Rueck enforced during scrimmages, was that the men could not block the shots of perimeter players.... (For those who do not know, an athletic 6'0 male basketball player with good skills, can block a very high % of shots against WBB perimeter players if he is motivated to do so.) GO BEAVS!!

Comments? OSU has had a scout men's team for years for the women to scrimmage against. I was trying to find a scouting report on the utes and saw that article from the Ute board.

This year's practice men's team was honored before last Sunday's game. Try and convince me this team is NCAA worthy? Not even close, maybe 2 years, maybe 3, and that's if no one bails out, and it's almost certain a starter or 2 will leave for greener pastures this, or next year. Just zero consistency is probably the biggest issue, and it's a serious one!! The glow we all loved about this program is now very dark.. Sad times..
