They have to be careful about injury disclosure or any comment on the injury. University policy - legal exposure I think. HIPAA right? Or something along those lines...........I think that pretty much all universities have to be pretty general about player injuries.

To clarify for the Judge:
12-5 is induced vertical break from a high 3/4 arm slot that might break vertically 18-20" and with some (3-4") horizontal break. 12-6 is pure sink from an over-the-top release point. This pitch has a soft arc that is picked up early by the hitter if up in the strike zone. He doesn't hang it, the starting point is too high IMO. A srewball would be 12-7. Screw balls are a thing of the past -it died with Carl Hubbell. Now it's "armside run" from a split finger fastball, or Kevin Ables tumbling change-up. Movement away from the pitchers armside.

You need help with the clock. 12-5 would be breaking backwards from a righty. 12-7 would be a 3/4 arm release curve.

But in high profile sports like football we hear waaaaaay more about injuries. I think the baseball program just likes to keep things internal as much as possible.

Hey Judge -
You are interpreting the face of the clock to be the hitter and not the pitcher. That pitch moves from 12 o'clock on the pitcher's clock down and to the pitcher's left to 5 o'clock. That is 12-5. I have never heard of a hitter being the face of the clock and not the pitcher.
Something new you have invented?

I was taught as a pitcher to view the clock from the pitcher's perspective......as in the way the pitch is approaching the clock with the face towards the pitcher. So, I guess that I've never heard it the other way. And my HS pitching coach spent 14 whole days in MLB.....so, I don't know.....LOL Edit: I looked it up and I everything that I can find has the clock face towards the pitcher like I said, although they refer to a curveball with a 3/4 arm slot as either a 1-7 or 2-8 breaking ball from a right handed pitcher. Now we just have to figure out what it is on a digital clock.....LOL

He was in surprise...maybe not in the dugout but there. The coaches have said there are guys with some injuries...maybe Mundt is one of those guys Mundt is not on the roster, Mundt is not on the team this year, Mundt is probably injured, we haven't heard anything official. Sounds like there are other injured players, there has always been a level of secrecy with this program. #25? osubeavers.com/sports/baseball/rosterI was told he traveled w/the team and was in the stands in Surprise - apparently told some fans that he's out for the year, likely TJ.

If you count, there are 44 players listed, only 40 are allowed on the roster. For whatever reason, they have not updated that list. Gametracker last weekend showed 40 players listed, Mundt was one of the 4 not listed, along with Cope, Nelson, and Reed.
