She has a decently large social media following, so she gets paid to promote brands.
That said, her following is built largely on being an athlete, so she’d best keep her game moving forward if she’s going to make a living of it.

I guess I can see where people would have gotten interested in her at the time of the weight room deal at the NCAA tournament last year, but that should have been her 15 minutes of fame. I just can't imagine a Sedona Prince promotion of a product causing it to fly off the shelves all across the country.

On her Instagram I saw Papé, Quizlet, and Parity Now as paid sponsorships. She has 250k followers on Instagram.

Good win. The big picture perspective says that Rueck leads some pretty good coaches at OSU in winning percentage:

Prof, I believe you're missing one important coach in OSU athletics. Dale Thomas from wrestling. 616-168-13 for a .772 winning percentage in 34 seasons, accumulating 22 conference titles.

Finding someone who can run the point, and isn't a turnover machine + not a defensive liability is very important for OSU's continued success. With Emily at point, and more importantly, TvO at a wing, OSU is far more dangerous. TvO is now getting Mik Pivec like stats. Our rebounding stats were outstanding (like the old days). TvO is a great rebounder and she manages to get in great rebounding position when she is a free floating wing (vs PG). Great change up by the coaches. We're going to see Emily as the primary PG rest of the season. Next step is to cut down on turnovers, and then OSU will be a solid NCAA Tournament team.

I just can't fathom that 250,000 people would give a damn what Sedona Prince is doing or saying. Sure, there's her mother, but who the hell are the other 249,999? I've also never heard of Pape, Quizlet, or Parity Now. I think I'm glad I don't own stock in any of them, though.

Ask almost any high school/college student and they should be able to tell you what Quizlet is. 😂

Why would you own stock in social media like Facebook when it does not produce anything of value. Why do people post so many personal things on social media is beyond me.

Sedona Prince has over 2.9 MILLION followers on TikTok. Her Girlfriend is like 4'foot 10 inches. Together they make really interesting content and both my teenagers follow her. I am sure she is doing fine with her NIL

Snapchat is also huge. I don’t have that either.

Codding has made a huge difference with her ability to push the ball past midcourt with pretty good urgency and then make a quick pass to get the Beavers into whatever play they're going to run. She doesn't seem to have any major problems getting by the defense of one player and opposing teams can't afford to try to trap her as much because it leaves TVO with more one on one chances. Plus, as you said, TVO is way more effective on offense when she is not tasked with PG duties. Also, not sure if anyone found out a specific reason why Mitrovic barely played against UO in Corvallis. Aside from maybe being a little under the weather or banged up, I figured Rueck thought she wasn't going to match the Ducks' pace well enough. Whatever the reason, Rueck decided to go with her and she obviously made a huge difference...especially on defense and rebounding. All in all, such a huge win at a pivotal moment. OSU still has to finish strong, but another loss could have been devastating in several ways.

Mitrovic has improved several aspects of her game this season. But to me, the two most impressive leaps she has made are in rebounding and delivering her outlet passes quickly and on target.
Her offense still has a long ways to go, but she is proving to be more and more of an asset to the team. Her presence in the paint is also becoming more effective. Yesterday was the first time I have EVER seen her use her lower body as a defensive weapon - and it was nice to see. At any rate, I believe she is improving in gradual progressions (not by leaps and bounds) and that is a good sign for the Beavs. GO BEAVS!!
