Guys will get time. Play is earned. I like Fuchs… has always seemed a guy ready to hit… but hurt a lot . He needs to step up. Hearing good things on Wheeler…

Melton will likely hit 3 and maybe 2 when circumstances could dictate that. From practice reports, we won't see Boisvert right away but he is a pitcher. 97 on the Stalker is more attractive than a 97 exit velo on Trackman. Many options available to maneuver with this team - offensively and defensively. Boisvert may well share a closing role by seasons end.

Similar to Dylan Davis, who had elite velocity and potential on the mound but became a daily position player, has plenty of fits. Boisvert has outstanding power in the bat.

I'm a little surprised Myro isn't being mentioned at all. Not sure he starts opening day, but I think he's a guy will get an opportunity.

Boisvert was an excellent hitter and position player (and pitcher) throughout his young career. At Empire HS in Tucson, playing 3B and 1B,.he had a 3 year career BA of .363 with 28 doubles, 2 triples, 9 home runs and 53 RBI. In 2019 at Scottsdale CC, he posted .308/ .426/ .524. At Scottsdale in the Covid-19 shortened season of 2020, in 16 games he posted .270/ .404/ .459. At Seward CC (Liberal, KS.) in 2021, he was the DH and he pitched.
Braden has a gift - he can throw a baseball 60'6" at 97 mph. He can maintain a 94-97 mph level of velocity into a high pitch count - he's very strong. He also has a jaw dropping slider at 85 mph. Two power pitches with a high whiff rate = some one you want coming out of your bullpen to kill a rally or slam the door shut.
Our coaches certainly know Braden can hit, but his impact and high ceiling on the hill dictate . . . PITCHER!
Could be wrong but I feel confident in projecting this one.

Don’t disagree Don’t be surprised if he gets opportunities at DH. He’s not a position player going forward. Great arms use ride on the fastball also.
