Just to be sure I follow your logic. If OSU (who are even lower than the low low ASU) should only lose to Stanford by a couple of points then Stanford isn't actually an upper division team? What? We were 3-3 in conference coming into the game and they were 1-3. How were we lower than ASU? Fact check: The Beavers were 4-2 in conference play coming into last night's game against Arizona State.

, we're lower division now, and looked terrible getting there. No dance this year, that ship has sailed. MIGHT finish .500 but doubtful..

Fact check: The Beavers were 4-2 in conference play coming into last night's game against Arizona State. Scary thought... OSU could very easily be 4-8 or 5-7 after the next couple weeks! And, I love the optimism of the "next year" crowd, but... OSU basically gets even younger. All McDs AA aren't created equal and their highlights aren't vs Pac12 talent. And, other Pac12 teams are returning many quality players and some have recruited very well. Next year looks promising, but there's lots of possibilities yet this season. And, there is no guarantee next season will be significantly better. Returning Taylor, a year of growth, and new recruits is promising... but so was this season. No matter the outcome this is the only season that counts right now. I'm hoping this team somehow pulls off a 3-2 record the next 5 (hoping they get to play all of them!) and gets more tourney experience.

Agree with the next few games … we need to step things up. We are due to knock off a favorite or two. We looked far more fluid, and in control, when we had Kennedy, or Jelena combined with Greta, AJ, Mack, and TVO on the floor. I do not see why COACH inserts TEA into the game at critical points in the game ? I hate being critical of any player - but, her entire previous playing career was with a different program and style of play. I did not check printed turnover numbers ( which are often incorrect ), but ? Coach Rueck seems to have ‘something’ in mind with her insertion. We were killing them in the paint with easy looks and some great passing, and then we start laying some bricks from outside . We all thought they had turned the corner, but - instead, it appears we really are not very good, yet ! Still supporting , of course - but last night was mostly disappointing. Go Beavers !

Beavs aren't a good road team this year. Not enough experience or leadership at this point. Need one of the veteran players to grab the reins. Huge factor, imo. Saw some good things yesterday out of Brown. Nice D as usual but effective post moves, too. She's starting to look like the injury is well behind her. Mitrovic also a bright spot. She's getting better, slowly but surely. Freshman guards all have serious potential. They just need more time and confidence. Based on last year's strong finish I'm not giving up on this team making the dance although it's a long shot.

When your 2nd leading scorer is averaging 7.7 ppg that is generally an indication you have issues on offense.
By the way, looking at our next 5 games we play Oregon and Stanford twice and Arizona. We will be the clear underdog in all of those games. It is an opportunity to jump start the season or to shovel more dirt on it.

That proves you aren't very good at getting your facts correct. We should base our judgement on how the Beav's are doing by their record and not how much you love hating on them? That's fine by me.

I have watched basketball a long time never seen that either. Technical is 2 shots. Kenedys bump a 1 and 1. Then technical is ball out.refs had to have invented something I’ve never witnessed. Nothing was invented. Each technical by Rueck provided ASU with two free throw attempts. The common foul accounted for the remaining two of the six free throws that Taya Hanson converted to ice the game with 17.2 seconds to play. If I remember correctly, Rueck similarly imploded in 2019 late in a road loss to Arizona State and was ejected as well with two technicals that sealed his team's fate. Deja vu all over again. Anyone else remember that Rueck ejection? It took a little internet research by Googling "Rueck technical Arizona State", but here is a local article about Rueck being tossed in Tempe in 2019 with a little more than two minutes left to play: www.registerguard.com/story/sports/2019/03/02/rueck-ejected-in-OSU-s/53221733007/I remember the Sun Devils shooting four free throws after his two technicals that night. I believe a big part of his frustration in that 2019 game was centered on a number of questionable foul calls on Slocum that really limited her minutes in that contest.

The next 5 games are an opportunity. If the Beavs can win 2 of the next 5 games, they absolutely can still dance. It ain't over until it's over.

Well I think it is over. We do not have the ability to be consistent. His overclntroll and apparent temper have been costly. What I want really does not matter. If we are objective we know there won’t be good results in next 5 games. We could win one it two. If we do great. Likely not and we all know that. He needs to change some assistants and turn them loose. He won’t.
