According to the play by play on ESPN ASU shot 8 FTs in 2 seconds. What the hell happened?
Well...this was a game OSU couldn't afford to lose. Prepare to see a bunch of L's coming up over the next couple weeks.

Biggest choke in the Rueck era. Mack in the previous 3 possessions before the million ASU FT’s: Traveled, missed a wide open trey and threw it away. Not even sure what could justify SIX free throws all at once 2 technicals plus a common foul. |

I have watched basketball a long time never seen that either. Technical is 2 shots. Kenedys bump a 1 and 1. Then technical is ball out.refs had to have invented something I’ve never witnessed.

That may have been the loss that keeps us out of the tourney. That and the (quite possibly) next 5 losses in a row: UA - Stanford - Oregon - Oregon - Stanford. Winning any of those 5 games would be a pleasant upset. I love the OSU WBB program, but I think this season will likely go down as a learning/growing year. |

Scott indicated he called time out. Replay shows he was standing right next to a ref when he did and she did nothing. After Mack got hammered earlier and Missy Barlow’d, can’t say I blame him for being hot.

Typical 18% from 3 point range but at least we added being terrible at the free throw line too: 46% Team was good enough on the defensive side of the ball but as usual shot it bad from the field and free throw line. Also not to mention the turnovers. Ball security doesn't seem to be a priority. It's been lousy for the last few years. Overall not trending the right direction. |

I will be honest with you if Scott coached anywhere else he'd be easy not to like. His demeanor often bothers me and I am a fan.

Rueck was given a double technical. Here’s my take on that. I don’t even know why he could have gotten a technical. The two plays leading up to that were a pass down low to Ellie who got visibly pushed out of bounds. So her shot was way off and Kennedy wrestled for the ball with another player going for it too. However Kennedy contact was nothing push wise from the girl who pushed Ellie? That was a very obvious effort to push her!
I can’t see much cuz the camera wasn’t on Rueck but it’s hard to here him when he speaks in front of a mic?
Very strange ending to this game. A lot of repercussions also.
