When you have McDonald all Americans on the team maybe just maybe you need to undo the leash and let them play. Maybe the offense doesn't have to run through Scott on every possession. Has been discussed several times. Not Scott's philosophy What we're seeing this year isn't Rueck ball either though. Just a lack of confidence doing what they are capable of across the board. I hope we seen an inflection point like we saw last year. They are playing better now that the game is almost out of reach and it's desperation time - seems like they need to play more in earnest from the get-go. |

Greta won't shoot. Our best shooter won't shoot. Meanwhile, Codding, who is close to the Mendoza line, sees the light fully green. On Greta, here FG% is pretty low overall on the team when you don't include beyond the arc (only Codding and Adams are worse), so that may be in her mind. |

Watching this game and the last one, I find myself doing a complete 180 in my thinking. This is a poorly coached team this year, period. Nothing on the offensive end looks planned, ball movement is close to non-existent, spacing is poor, players just stand around and they look like they're not even sure they're standing around in the right spot, and the turnover numbers are horrendous.
I don't pretend to have the answers, but, then again, I'm not paid to have them. It looks to me, however, like our individual players aren't developing, our team isn't developing, and we look worse with each passing week rather than better. At this moment in time, I am very disappointed with this team.

But why is it poor coaching this year as you pointed out, what changed in your opinion? It just feels the team has no grit or fight but I am not sure why?
