Not happening until 1/7/22 and its an implosion (controlled demolition)...not a 'blow it up'...but should still be cool to see! Oh, 1/7 not 12/7. My mistake. Not sure how much will be left to implode by then

It MAY have been asked already, but, were the bleachers that are being destroyed OFFERED to any schools, etc. in the state? Just wondering. Seems a MISSED opportunity if not. Danka

Danka I don’t think they were in good enough shape. Plus they were attached to the concrete. It’s not like they were freestanding bleachers. They were just old benches.

What I remember about Bob’s was that, in addition to being cheap, they were reliably mediocre. They were never terrible and they were never great, just a good reliable no-frills, generic burger. And that’s what I went to them for. I also remember the cigarette vending machines. 40 cents a pack. You can still get Bob's hamburgers if you come to Salem. The Golden Grill has reproduced them and I can attest that they taste the same to me. www.goldengrillsalem.com/images/menu.pdfAre they still. $ 0.19. Lol.

I'm hoping the rest of the project goes faster. Seems like there is more work than one excavator can handle.

Looking at the round about in rubble is kind of sad. *tear*
Not gonna lie, I'm going to miss the 'ol girl. One thing I'm definitely going to miss is having actual, live conifers IN the stadium. Always felt that was really unique and as "Oregon" as it gets. Kind of wish they could have found a way to save the trees, as impractical as it might be.

You should have thought about that ahead of time and placed a spotted owl in one of them.
