Personally, I think it really exemplifies the state of the program at Hole right now. Their players are similar to Cristobal…no loyalty, just looking for what’s next on the horizon. They aren’t working men. They’re coddled and told how wonderful they are. They are overrated.
And PK is a fool for this. I’m sure he is smart enough to see it now. Money doesn’t buy loyalty. Money doesn’t buy love. Money buys flash and, apparently, poorly-conceived uniforms.

In any case this all confirms that Uncle Phil can buy everything but loyalty. I guess that when you have a landfill program, the stink will always seep out sooner or later.

If he goes Oregon really has become the peak stepping stone job in the country. Maybe they should look at bringing Helfrich back, that dude was the only loyal coach they've had since 2008. I mean, Miami? MIAMI?
Canzano's article is interesting. Is it worse to be beholden to one megadonor or a group of megadonors? And if you are Matt Campbell or any other high profile coach meting rumored for the job, does that matter or is it all about the Benjamin's?
Really hard to feel sorry for either the coach, or the institution.
Might as well call it what it is, college Football Sugar Daddy.

Apparently the Money was made available by Ohil Knight before the Utah Game. He did not sign. That would really upset Knight. Burned that bridge. This whole thing has been awkward As well as sordid.,They do not have an AD in place? I kind of think Cristobol is stuck and has to leave now. Funny how Miami gave him until 9:00 this Morning. Would be funny if he burned both bridges. Not likely.
