I have no idea how they compiled these teams. I do believe they will significantly different from the media selections.

nevermind, this is PFF, not the official pac-12 selections. This was written by some yahoo two years out of school. PFF is compiled this using their proprietary metrics. A lot of teams NCAA and NFL alike subscribe to PFF to help them game plan and to help them target players in the NCAA to draft. PFF is closer to reality than anything that the Pac-12 will put together. If PFF says that Chance Nolan is the best quarterback in Pac-12, I buy that more than say ESPN saying that Nolan is third.

He has the same TDs as Charbonnet, one less than White and more yards and a better YPC than either. On the other hand, Zach Charbonnet finished with more total yardage due to being a much better receiving running back. And, while Baylor put the ball on the turf four times (losing two), Charbonnet did not fumble in any of his 226 plays. Rachaad White also finished with more total yardage due to being an even better receiving running back than Charbonnet. Also, he only fumbled once in his 225 plays and Arizona State recovered. Also also, White finished with higher yards per touch than Baylor. White did that while missing the final 10 minutes of the Utah game and completely missing the Wazzu game (which is one of the reasons why Arizona State lost both games). Baylor is undoubtedly a better first- and second-down straight running back. But Charbonnet and White are both better all-around backs than Baylor. I believe that both are consistently higher on NFL draft boards than Baylor, too. Baylor should really return in 2022 and work on being more of a threat in the passing game.

Eh, PFF gets a (rightful) fair amount of criticism. Their system is entirely built on hiring college kids to watch games and tally somewhat subjective plays. For example, their leading stat on London was he racked up 37 catches against single coverage... so? USC was a spread run an shoot team! they often had 4 WRs routes, everybody was single covered! That was their offense. It also seems odd that 37 of his 88 catches were single coverage and that is something to talk about? I am more interested about the other 51 catches. He total 19 contested catches. Cool, that is nice, he is also 6'5 and by design they threw him back shoulder fades 10 times a game! by design they gave him jump balls because on average he was 6 inches taller than any DB on him! 19 contested catches on how many attempts? that is a better question. London is a great WR, I am not even really knocking that... He literally leads the Pac-12 in receiving yards despite missing 4 games... He also literally leads the conference in receptions, still! Dude was averaging 10 catches and 135 yards per game... I am not arguing with him as a pick for top offensive player, but I am questioning how they got there. (also, side note...really down year for WRs in the Pac in general. maybe due to better ball distribution?) but a lot of metrics don't take in play design and scheme, which is the number 1 criticism you see from players and coaches against PFF. PFF doesn't know what the player was suppose to be doing all the time. They are rating run and shoot WRs the same as pro offense WRs, the same as option WRs! Though, I will say I think Bradford is a quality and greatly underrated WR. glad he got attention here.

PFF has always had their own grading system and it doesn't always make sense to me, but grain of salt. which also explains Bradford being 8th in rec yards and rec TDs being first team.
I swear they've had Eldridge as one of the top graded centers on a weekly basis so that one is odd even by their own standards. They've had Nolan grading out pretty well most weeks.
