As stated previously, but I believe it bears repeating. NIL will change the face of college athletics. Schools will be able to have "walk-ons" that get paid enough through NIL to pay for their schooling. I know of athletes in "minor" sports already making $10k+/month at SEC schools.

Probably figures it’s better to live in LA than Oklahoma….He’s probably right. I've been to both places recently and would pick Oklahoma over California every time. As a typical wage earner, you might be right. As a wealthy millionaire with celebrity status, I think LA would be far more interesting than Oklahoma.

A few years ago when Oklahoma state was in town for football I asked a cowboy fan if I came to Stillwater for a game what would be there to do. His response I could visit the wrestling hall of fame. I figure the same type of touristy things are available in Norman which means there isn't much there.

Not my taste, but neither is LA. But I’m just a working stiff.

We don't go head-to-head with USC. Other schools do. If USC starts winning some of those battles it is now losing, then some of those other schools drop down a notch and go after some guys we want. Not putting words in your mouth, Henry, but it sounds like you're saying OSU is a "fall-back program" for talent. "If I can't get this...I'll take that...If I can't get that......" and so on. For some, that is very true.

As seen on the Sooner board ... obviously the breakup between Riley and the Sooners wasn't quite as rosy as their official press releases would like to portend

As seen on the Sooner board ... obviously the breakup between Riley and the Sooners wasn't quite as rosy as their official press releases would like to portend Well they need to grow up! People leave jobs every day that affect those they lead. If anything it should be a good lesson for these kids that this is how life works. Toughen up and overcome! I don’t want to hear any “he told them he’d be there forever” bulls%#t. Get used to it. It’s called real life!!

Stoops is heated? BFD. OU "ain't" all that. If he was so concerned and cared so much he shouldn’t have quit for a cushy Tv job. College football is doomed because of money. Straight up no doubt.

True true true... JS may end up still the lowest paid P5 coach at $4+ mil/year. Soon D1 sports are going to have to splinter. The "haves" and "have not" gap is widening.
