As many of you have likely researched, the only way to watch is via a service called FloHoops at $29.99 for one month. Yikes. But.... this service is also streaming lots of the other tournaments this pre-season. Greybeav just posted an article about upcoming "games to watch" and several of them would get included in a Flohoops subscription...
Any watch parties brewing? Will Ron Callan be traveling with the team for radio broadcast?
GO BEAVS!

Thanks for this, it is coming soon, but yeah, expensive. If you break it down it's about $15 per game. They promise to be such good games it's hard to miss them.

Yes, there will be radio for both games at Oregon State All-Access. For whatever reason the Beavs no longer show "LISTEN" links on their website schedule so you can bookmark this link in case you want to tune in to future broadcasts.

Why not set up a watch party at Gill? That would be cool.

I believe the outcome of the Michigan and Notre Dame games will ultimately come down to how well OSU plays defense. And secondly, how many points OSU give ups vs get ourselves in the paint.

The coverage of these games is an insult to the players and to their fans. There is no way a #12 vs #14 men’s matchup is not covered by a major network. I’ll not be buying the package. If you’re a family member, it’ll be very irritating when you click the purchase button! Go Beavers!

It's still November, so obviously Rueck and the Beavs have a lot to figure out...
Right now the thing that causes me the most concern for this team is that, with the exception of Talia, no one (at this stage of the season) can attack the basket off the dribble in the half-court offense.
Right now we are dependent on good screens and crisp passing to get good shots - which is great....But when that breaks down - as it will against good defensive teams - the Beavs will find themselves having lots of trouble trying to score....
We'll see how they do Friday and Saturday. But keep an eye out for this issue.
It's no small matter with Rueck teams. He recruits great players but rarely those who "attack" off the dribble. Some learn to do it while at OSU - Pivec and Goodman are excellent examples of players who were very limited at this when they arrived and very good when they left.
On the other hand, Corsdale has improved minimally in her time at OSU. Codding and Mack and Brown are all weak (very weak) at attacking off the dribble. The jury is still out on Greta and AJ. In my view it's a serious limitation within our offense.
At any rate, I'm eager for these two games and I'm really hoping for two wins.
How great would that be!!!🏀😎

Both games will tell us a lot about where the Beavs are right now. I believe this team has a shot at being very good by the end of the season, but I'm not convinced they are there yet. I think a lot of how these games go will depend on how the young players do in their first non-home game. At least Talia has some experience in playing on the road, as does both the grad-transfers, so that may help a lot.
Watching the Michigan game it will be interesting to see how the Beavs defend, and whether they can stop Hillmon and will Dilk return to the lineup.
Of great interest to me is how will our freshman compare to Notre Dame's Olivia Miles and Sonia Citron? Both Miles (#8) and Citron (#16) were rated higher by Hoopgurlz than our three freshmen Talia, Greta, and AJ. Miles joined Notre Dame last season as Talia did for the Beavs, and they were both arguably the two most productive early entries from High School last season. Citron is off to a solid start this season earning ACC freshman of the week last week, for the second time. She's averaging 10.2 points and 6.1 rebounds per game in the early going. Miles is averaging 10 points per game and leading the team in assist. Neither of them is shooting the 3 well (combined 3-22), but both Mabrey and Brunelle are shooting over 40% from 3, so as a team Notre Dame can be dangerous from deep. Although my top hope is to see the Beavs win this game, the battle of freshman will be something I really want to see play out.

In stretches the Beav's have started to show the team rebounding that the great teams have. The team aspect of the offense and defense is still a work in progress, but if KB, Greta, and Talia start again that's essentially three Frosh in experience learning college ball at the same time. Going to take a little bit of time.

Miles joined Notre Dame last season as Talia did for the Beavs, and they were both arguably the two most productive early entries from High School last season. I don't think there's any debate. Those 2 were head and shoulders above any of the other early entrants. Most of the others had zero impact.
