Didn't want to start a new thread for this, but read that Taylor Jones is injured again. Hasn't played the past 2 games with Texas, and is being evaluated week-to-week. I seem to recall she transferred to Texas for her physical and mental health. At the moment, it doesn't sound like that's working out real well. Anyway, good luck to her.

I read that it was a back injury. So probably good news it’s not her shoulders, but bad news that back injuries are also super complicated.

Thanks for posting. I'm a big fan of herhoopsstats, but how can they get it so wrong about Talia redshirting? Those type of comments make you doubt all other comments, but I still like the info they provide (usually). Also, I really like the game of both Utah players mentioned, but would you trade Talia for either one of them? After saying I am a big fan of theirs, one other knock I will give them. They gave Kailyn Gilbert their pick for Freshman of the week the week Raegan won the award, and their comment was basically their second choice was Grace VanSlooten. Hmmm... Have you tried watching Raegan play?

Have you tried watching Raegan play? Ok, I think I was wrong, and they had Kailyn as the Freshman of the week in week 3, not week 2 when Raegan won. Glad to know their mistakes are limited, and mine continue to grow. Also, curious to see that it looks like this week the Beavers didn't nominate anyone for Player of the week, or Freshman of the week, unless the Pac12 website just skipped them. I thought that was strange, and I was really curious to see if the Beavs nominate Martha or Raegan for last week's performances.

While we wait... AZ plays Kansas at 5 today, it might be a decent game (I've been wrong before, a lot), KU is 7-0, no real challenges for them so far. pac-12.com/womens-basketball/schedule

Kansas looks like the real deal. Throttling Arizona in the third.

UA is just getting pounded. Down by 27 in the 4th. At home!

A quick look at the Kansas roster reveals a team that could very well be a factor nationally this season. The improvement of the 6-6 player has made a huge impact and they have all the ingredients around her to make an elite squad. I think the Jayhawks are going to be a tough out this year.

Kansas cut to the hoop with impunity tonight. UA defense was not at their best.

Arizona was averaging 88ppg going into that game, and they were playing at home, and they only scored 50. Hmmm.

big crowd again, 7300, lots of grey heads, just like our games ( and me) , maybe lots of retirees ? Leaving out the kids game, we're averaging about 3,500. Last year, we averaged about 4,400. Mostly grey heads, I will grant you, but nowhere near as many there used to be. Other programs, like Arizona's, have surpassed us, and they now draw the really big crowds.
