Arizona whooped Oregon. Final margin was 15, but they were up by 20 for a good stretch of time. I'm sure they were still really pissed off about the last time they met. Revenge is strong grass hopper.

No, not really. Arizona St. just isn't very good this year and the Beavs couldn't get that done.

Some great reinforcements coming in next year. An exciting class with high expectations to boot.

OSU is bringing in more highly regarded recruits recently, but it doesn't seem to be leading to better results. To me it's pretty clear that there has been a downward trend since the 15-1 start to the '19-'20 season. Fairly mediocre results ever since. 31-22 spanning parts of 3 seasons.

A couple reasons outside our program. Oregon Arizona have gotten better. Stanford has stayed powerful. I do not know why certain players pass on us. I think it is Coach and His offensive mindset. Kids prefer a more open system. Destiny comes to mind. Also those that transfer out. Marie ran the floor like a true Center. Ruth also got down the Court.

The game at ASU came down to one thing. No answer to stopping one girl. Nobody stopped her she went off in us. That’s coaching to me. We need to isolate this player in these situations. She had 14 at half. We cut her point production in half we win going away. Louisville beat Michigan girls by 20 points because they specifically had a game plan to stop that undersized post Michigan had. How does going to the zone stop that girl from ASU? It didn’t she kept breaking us down. Because of our zone. You beat a zone defense by moving to the open spaces left by the zone. She’d get her 12 foot shots uncontested for the most part

The 2015-16 season for Rueck was great but Oregon and Arizona were a nothing program at that time. Also there is too much dribbling or standing in one spot waiting for somebody to make the next move. We will see what next years recruits can do for the program but as it stands right now I think Rueck has reached his limit unless he makes some adjustments to his offense. Go Beavers!!

It looks like Washington could be making a comeback with their new coach and ASU is always a tough game especially on their home court. Rueck is going to have to find more Jamie's,Marie's,Ruth's or Syd's to make another run. I'm hoping that Timea and Raegan will start a new run.

It used to be you could look at a roster and make a reasonable prediction of how good they would be next year and beyond. With the way players transfer in and out those days are gone. I will wait to see what the roster looks like at the beginning of next season and how good the freshman look before making any predictions about next season.

I guzzled the kool-aid after the men's team made the elite 8 last year. It's a crap shoot predicting OSU hoops.
