There are a bunch of people about to be fired tomorrow, for their continued stupidity when it comes to being vaccinated. Claiming a religious exemption is BS for the majority of them. Unless they invented their own anti-vax church in the last 24 hours. Actions have consequences. He's about to learn that, the hard way.
I see it as Darwinism in action. The slow, the old, and the stupid ones get culled from the herd.
What I want to know is, will this dickhead still be able to get his multi million dollar severance, after being terminated for cause?

Is this Rolo's last game at WSU?
I sure hope so. Smith is 0-3 against Rolovich in the last 3 seasons.

I still don’t understand why Covid 19 vaccinated people care whether others are vaccinated or not. It’s not logical. I’m vaccinated and don’t care one bit what others do.
But the answer is no.

[br Did you fall down and bump your head? I care because maybe that person infects me, or somebody I love, like my 93 year old mother. If she gets Covid, she is likely to be toast. Or maybe they take up an ICU bed that I need in a medical emergency, and I die on the stretcher in the hospital hallway, because all the available beds are being taken by people who are dying from their own stupidity.

Not if you or mom’s vaccination is effective! Check your local hospital data. I do. Plenty of icu beds available throughout this thing. Maybe check your own head for bumps.

I spent 5 days in a makeshift icu in the trauma center in my local hospital because all the beds on the actual icu were filled with covid patients. The other hospital that is closer was filled up as well. There is no vaccine that is 100% effective!

Depending on where you are there may or may not have been "plenty" of ICU beds. Seems to me I saw several reports of full ICUs in several Oregon counties just a couple months back. I also think Atown gave some statewide stats a couple months back that would indicate there were not plenty of ICU spots at the time, more like a handful statewide. So many hospitalizations and deaths in this state were avoidable, whether it be by vaccine or even simple distancing and masking. I found this, which confirms limited ICU beds available in several counties in Oregon back in August: www.google.com/amp/s/kval.com/amp/news/local/some-parts-of-oregon-have-no-icu-beds-left-as-covid-19-cases-surge

I didn't have covid, I was in an accident. I live in the mid valley. The ambulance people were discussing where to take me. Albany and Corvallis had no room in their icu's, I heard the radio say. I was basically the same distance from both and Corvallis has the main trauma unit and they used the rooms closest to the nurse's station and the bed in those closest to the door as an icu bed. Poor nursing staff was in and out of the room all the time. They never pulled the curtain unless someone from the hospital was in there with me. I could have one relative visit once a day for 15 minutes was the rule, they gave me a card that I could give to someone for an exception. The day I was discharged they rushed me out because they had someone in the emergency room waiting for my bed. From my experience everybody there was trying their best to do their job with a positive attitude in a very difficult situation.

Religious exemptions are individual to the person. Even if someone is an adherent of a denomination that does not ban vaccinations, an individual can have a constitutional religious belief, barring him or her from receiving a COVID-19 vaccination. And intentional violations of individuals' constitutional rights is a crime and also can result in huge civil suits. Actually Mississippi, New York, California, West Virginia, and Maine do not allow religious exemptions for vaccine requirements for children. So religious exemption is not a sure thing. It’s unfortunate that the 45 other states haven’t joined with the other 5, but we allow a person’s belief in the unknowable and untestable jeopardize the safety of the community. Ridiculous. If it is not a sincere belief, you can be arrested for making fraudulent statements to the government. If you intentionally, recklessly or negligently injure or kill another individual, you can be prosecuted for crimes and/or you may be civilly liable. I believe that Connecticut is in the same boat, when it comes to no religious exemptions for children to attend public schools. It is important to note that those are the limits imposed on (1) children (2) attending (3) public schools. I do not know, whether those laws would apply more broadly than for those laws' limited purpose. Otherwise: "They who can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety."--Benjamin Franklin (1775).

A social Darwinism argument! The very underpinning of most of the early 20th century's eugenics and racism. Hello 1933! I guess that makes the smart, areligious ones a "master race." I guess that a higher proportion of African-Americans and Hispanics are excluded from your "master race," though, is just an "accidental" side effect. If only they were "smarter" and less religious.................

Otherwise: "They who can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety."--Benjamin Franklin (1775). Poor Richard! (Pun intended, and admittedly forced) So often taken out of context. You see, this exact quotation within its original context means almost exactly opposite of what you want it to mean. Franklin was writing about a situation of taxation, a puppet governor, the wealthy Penn family, and the legislation’s compromise to accept money from the Penns to pay for western defenses while agreeing to acknowledge that they don’t have the power to tax the family lands. The exact quotation is: Those who would give up essential Liberty, to purchase a little temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety. As you cansee, “purchase” is a key word here because, quite literally, that was what was happening. So basically Franklin was saying that everybody loses when we make exceptions for the rich.

No one's religious faith entitles them to be a public health menace.
