Just saw this Tweet. I’ve never before heard of this guy Dyshawn Hobson. Search on this board didn’t turn up anything. Just checked the roster and he is the #2 Point Guard in Oregon, graduated 2018 from Corvallis High. Has anyone in Corvallis watched him play? How good is he? He was a practice player for the team last year… a Junior this year.

Yeah certainly a walk on. Noticed that Joey Potts is now a former walk on having left OSU for Oregon Tech. Thought the kid had some talent, but definitely looks like the right move for him.

Looks like a nice piece, at least for practice, good luck to him!

I now count 16 on the roster… holy jumpin’ up and down Martha! Even more remarkable about our roster is that Hunt, Lucas and Alatishe all grew an inch since last year. Now THAT is some impressive off-season work out of those fellas!

No THAT is some impressive off-season work out of those fellas! I think Hunt was listed at 6’4” last year, but yeah, that’s weird. I’ve walked by Lucas and he’s maybe 6’2”.

Nice. I do like that the NBA now officially measures guys. A lot of players lost 3 inches. Draymond Green shrunk from 6’9” to 6’6” in one year.

Wow, big career upgrade there. Although OIT has put out some great teams, it is NAIA vs DIv I. Good luck on that thriving metropolis of Klamath Falls!

Plus OIT has won National Championships and has very good teams at that level. He was a walk on here, so good for him.

Hopefully the athleticism on this year’s team will mean that he wouldn’t get any PT with the Beavs. I hope he’s a beast at his new home and has a ton of fun!
