It’s a chance to play vs not play. Plus OIT has won National Championships and has very good teams at that level. He was a walk on here, so good for him. Best of luck, Mr. Potts. I really liked him. Hopefully the athleticism on this year’s team will mean that he wouldn’t get any PT with the Beavs. I hope he’s a beast at his new home and has a ton of fun! With this year’s roster, Potts was going to struggle to even get scrimmage time. Best of luck to him!

Yeah certainly a walk on. Noticed that Joey Potts is now a former walk on having left OSU for Oregon Tech. Thought the kid had some talent, but definitely looks like the right move for him. Wow, big career upgrade there. Although OIT has put out some great teams, it is NAIA vs DIv I. Good luck on that thriving metropolis of Klamath Falls! Where did you play college ball?
