Against certain teams I could envision an OSU starting lineup of: Taylor/Taya/Kennedy/Ellie/TvO

I didn't; read it again. I was comparing Scott's tendency to heap praise on his players to us doing exactly the same for incoming recruits, and I used our hype on Simmons (not Scott's) as an example of our doing it. The hyping of Simmons was primarily from one poster. But it was some industrial-grade hype (Simmons = “Pivec on steroids”).

Against certain teams I could envision an OSU starting lineup of: Taylor/Taya/Kennedy/Ellie/TvO The only time I see Taya and Ellie on the court at the same time is if one is playing the 4. Then we would have to have a bunch of injuries. I agree that Greta will be the 2. TVO on the point. Taya will be the 3 with Kennedy the 4 and Taylor at the post.

Agree…Ellie isn’t starting against any team on the schedule. In fact, I would suggest that her playing time will be heavily dependent upon how well Taya plays. The bulk of the available minutes will go to Taya. Remember, when she was healthy, Scott regularly had her out there for 38 (or 40 mins.)
In meaningful games, All 40 mins at the 5 will go to Taylor and Jelena. Kennedy and Taya will get the large majority of the minutes at the 4 (let’s say 35 of them.) Taya will get at around 25 mins at the 3. That leaves 20 to be split between Ellie, Emily, and one of the guards (likely AJ) when Scott goes small. Talia, Greta, Tea, and AJ will easily consume the 80 mins available in the backcourt.
In non-meaningful games or blowouts, things will be different for sure.

"Ellie isn’t starting against any team on the schedule. In fact, I would suggest that her playing time will be heavily dependent..." Hmmmm, first "starting" and PT are mutually exclusive. Many a coach out of respect to a player (Sr, injury plagued career, etc) will start a player and they'll get limited minutes. Plus, most all players' minutes are dependent. On their play and the play of their teammates. That said, nit picky, but I'm betting Ellie gets a start or two vs "any team on the schedule".

Unless somebody is unavailable (injury, sickness, etc), I don't believe she starts. And I like Ellie. Just like others more. I also understand starting v. PT. Just felt like adding some additional commentary. You can disregard those details, since the post is related to the starting lineup.

Especially with the tone of respect you post with. As there was no intent of disrespect in my commentary. Go Beavs
