A few months ago we did our 'Way, Way too early starting lineup' guesses. Now that we've made it through hiring new coaches, everyone arriving back on campus, summer workouts, a couple interviews with the head coach, what are your latest thoughts on who the starters will be for game 1 (notice I said game 1, I do expect changes before Pac12 play). Based on what I've heard so far this summer, I'm sticking with my original guess: Taylor Jones Taya Corosdale Ellie Mack Tea Adams Talia Von Oelhoffen
As fall practices wind down, I'll see if anything we hear/see gives me a change of heart. I will say this may be the deepest team I can remember the Beavs having with talent that is close to equal at every position.

I say Brown has to be in there.

A big "no" to Corosdale and Mack both starting. One or the other okay, but not both.

If I remember correctly, Coach pretty much has the starting line up pegged before non-conference. I don't think he uses it to test out which "formula" works. If I had to throw my two cents in, here's what I believe he may do: Talia, Greta, Taya, Kennedy, Taylor.

I’m also going to stick with my original prediction of Talia, Greta, Taya, Kennedy and Taylor.
Of course this is all speculation, but from how much hype they’ve gotten from the coaching staff, I believe that Talia, Kennedy and Taylor are locks. Scott has also said that he never treats freshmen like freshmen- Greta is a special talent and I don’t think they’ll hesitate to make her a cornerstone of the program right away.
It’s hard to start 4 forwards/posts, so it seems like Scott will have to pick between Ellie and Taya. This is a matchup I think Taya wins due to more Pac-12 experience and more years with the program. She also has an additional year of eligibility, should she choose to return.
Regardless of the starting five, I’m really excited to see what this team can accomplish. Go Beavs!

I'm with most of you on this. Greta and Talia are the future; Tea is one and done. I think he'll go with Greta on day one, and she'd need to play her way out of the starting spot. Kennedy started as a freshman, and I think she brings more to the party than Ellie. Taya and Taylor at the other 2 spots.
Jelena will get plenty of minutes off the bench with Taylor being foul prone.

I think the general consensus over Talia, Greta, Taya and Taylor as starters is on the money. But the idea that Brown will be the starter after not playing for a year and three quarters is just goofy to my way of thinking. Could she play her way into the lineup? Sure, but starting in the first game? No, isn't happening. That's my wild guess and I'm sticking to it!!

Just going off of what I’ve heard from SR. Kennedy is ready and is a too good of defender to not include her.

Depending on how she comes back from the injury I think KB will become the best defending big OSU has ever had. But you still need to work her in.

Starters:
Tea Taya Talia Taylor greTa
Major sub at first break:
Mitrovic Mack Marotte Mannen eMily
Kennedy struggles to get off the bench, with consonants that just don't fit with this group.

TVO Greta Taya Kennedy Taylor
There is a bunch of talent still on the bench.

Pretty sure the Bulls didn't feel they needed to work Jordan in when he finally figured out he was slightly better at basketball than baseball. Kennedy ain't Michael, but she's better than Ellie.

If I had to throw my two cents in, here's what I believe he may do: Talia, Greta, Taya, Kennedy, Taylor. Coach isn't afraid to start freshmen, that's for sure, so Greta definitely has a shot. We should also recognize Pivec didn't start for 8 or 9 games her freshman season, and Taya didn't start until game 9ish her freshman campaign. I may make a completely different prediction after we hear more from practices, but right now, I'm going with Greta coming off the bench for a few games, with a real shot at starting before Pac12 play begins.
