I have been thinking about Women’s volleyball. We seem to ignore it.
We are 2-6 this Year. What will we be during the PAC 12 season?
I have read a lot about the issues of the last 4 or 5 years. 13 players have left and 2 near suicides is a red flag to Me.
Curious if anyone else cares. The thing that stood out is the Coach realizes players not working out? I would be happy had the School not tried to obstruct the situation. Meanwhile we are not good at a sport we should be good in. Being2-6 in preseason does not make us better for the conference. Other Schools are undefeated and we are poor. We made a change in Women’s soccer and are 7-0. Seems that change early on is working out.

The university seems determined not to do anything about the rot in the volleyball team. I've seem video of the coach talking a couple of times and he seems like a total creep. Maybe they just want to be able to drop the whole program? Dunno.

The university seems determined not to do anything about the rot in the volleyball team. I've seem video of the coach talking a couple of times and he seems like a total creep. Maybe they just want to be able to drop the whole program? Dunno. Volleyball is a required sport in the Pac-12. So there is no chance it could be dropped. |

Sorry dude but I am a big fan of the soccer, CC and T&F programs. And certainly want softball and volleyball to succeed. Gymnastics will probably outdraw WBB this season, with Jade to watch. |

I care about all the programs, men’s and women’s. Its just that WBB is dominant and a top sport at OSU. They deserve their own board. |

I've been to gymnastics meets and they draw huge crowds even with "no-name" competition. Not in the last couple years. Attendance is down considerably, in part because of bad meet times. Jade should help cure that. |

Wrong....I care about ALL Beaver sports regardless of how 'popular' they are or which gender they represent (binary assumption here...yeah I know dangerous assumption now) I do think we need boards for the major women's sports just like the men's or perhaps: OSU Hoops with sub boards for: Men's Hoops

Women's recruiting
Similar for Diamond Beavers
Men's Baseball
Recruiting
Women's Softball
RecruitingFootball can be stand alone as their is no women's equivalent Gymnastics can be stand alone as well as there is no men's equivalent Other sports in common are : Golf, Rowing, Soccer, How about a board each of these with sub-boards by gender? Other sports would include sub-boards for: Cross Country - W Track and Field - W Wrestling (sorry Mat Club) -M Would be more DEI compliant....and group similar sports regardless of gender into the same node. Since similar sports have similar calendar dates it would seem to be a logical move How about a board for the marching band on the dance team while we’re at it. |

I wánt osu to succeed in all sports...revenue sports...non revenue sports...men's or women's. Even tho I had a relative on the women's volleyball team,I just don't have any interest in the sport. About the only sports I attend any more Is men's and women's hoops,football and baseball.
