My point was that they were extremely high on Lotti and he did not pan out. Knights vs. PAC-12 play is a lot different. I hope this kid pans out! Just not getting my hopes up yet. I've watched a lot of Beavs play for the Knights - he's up there with the best we've had play for them - I have my hopes high for him. |

Madrigal was better, but not many others as incoming freshmen. |

Madrigal was better, but not many others as incoming freshmen. True, but his bat did not have the pop Bazzana's has. He hit one to the base of the wall in dead-center the other night. |

Bazzana’s a starter next season. Talent to burn with that kid. Don’t be surprised if Braden Boisvert is the first baseman and Forrester DH. Or possibly vice versa but Boisvert has more range and athleticism. |

My starters would be far different. 3b Dukart Ss Dernedde 2b Bazzana 1b Forrester OF Reed OF Melton OF Meckler C. Smith P Pfennings P Frisch P Hjerpe I don't see Clauch,Verberg or Casey back in 2022. Jmo I like the lineup.....couple tweeks for mine.....I'll put Dukart at SS, Gretler at 3rd, Dernedde at 2nd, and Weber at C, Boyd either DH or OF Claunch would be in there if he's back.....Casey would be on the pine if he's back. No way I put Dukart at SS…. he won’t be there. thought Claunch entered portal….. |

He'll have a busy fall, with Darwin and Gipson and Joey tutoring him on IF play. He's pretty raw, but can really swing it. The ball flies off his bat. |
