Thanks for the analysis folks, that is why I joined Bernice's, to learn from others. There are lots more games for Lily on YouTube, all seem to have the same video quality including that roving floor cam (who does that for HS games, nice!) yes, greybeav is right. There are a lot games played by Appleton-East (Lily's team) filmed last season and posted on Youtube. Most or all are of good quality and resolution, at least 720p. One could watch for several hours and longer. I'm retired so I have a lot of free time  |

That entire 'production' is 'fan'tastic. The video Quqlity , the announcers, the music - beats the hell out of what we see from the PAC-12 network !
On to the game itself and observation that she (Lily), is a very confident shooter and ball handler , can use both hands to finish at the board..
At least, in this game , she seems very balanced about sharing the ball with excellent passing skills - as well as looking to get open for mid range to long range open shots !
I really like her game, and see where she could be a new KAT when we need to catch up or push the lead out ! Seems to be just as effective at
shooting from top of the key to everything left and right, to the corners ! That, specifically, is where I see the most resemblance to Syd !
Really glad to have her on board !

Still catching more games of Lily's, check the sequence at about 1:21:55 , Lily flies out to block and then pokes the ball away, she is #2 in white.

I could be wrong, but I think the plan for her may be much the same as there was with Kat Tudor. Everybody knew what Kat was good at, and the Beavs tried every way they could to take advantage of that.

Her page on WER: www.worldexposurereport.com/lilyhansford I watched maybe 5 of her HS games on Youtube, and the only time her teammates got her the ball consistently was when they were behind in the last few minutes. She was always lights-out from the 3-pt line at the end of the game and could create the space needed to get the shot off easily. |

Lily Hansford is #2, tallest on the court often.

That first game was relatively slow for Lily, they didn't need her to score, she "wakes up" with 3 mins left in the half.

Thanks rman , SR has always said he likes athletes that also compete in individual sports, I forget why, tennis covers that. Very well rounded like all our players / recruits and strong scholastically, Cumulative GPA: 3.714 |
