Talia is a surprisingly good passer. However, she's deceptive in that when passing her arms often do not reach full extension, so visually, it looks less like a pass than it really is. She's a player who doesn't instantly "meet the eye test." You have to stick with her, watch her for quite a while, before the full value of her game becomes visible to you. At least that's the way it was with me..... Her leg stride gives the impression that she is not moving rapidly, but she is....A coach told me that she "moves slow but gets there first." Which, I guess, means she doesn't look fast but she actually is. All I'm saying is that it takes a while to realize how damn good she really is. Her athleticism doesn't jump out at you.... When you first meet her in the gym, and check out her frame, you might think she is a rugby player rather than a basketball player... In a nutshell, she's a helluva player but she doesn't necessarily look like one.... GO BEAVS!!!! That’s because Talia’s brilliance isn’t in her athleticism, although her strength is a plus. It’s her basketball IQ and ability to see all 10 players on the floor at once. If you are someone who only sees the ball when you are watching basketball she might not jump out to you at first glance, but she’s got incredible court vision and instincts. I love her game and I love watching her play. You have too many players on the court.....unless she can see herself.

Mind eye Smalls, minds eye :-) Either that or just another case of math kicking my ass!

Does this mean that TvO and Greta will now be in Corvallis for the summer? That's a very good point, the silver lining in the cloud .

Interesting twist to the 13 player roster.....Considering they have the entire nation, from Maine to California, from which to select a team.
Of the 13 selected players - 2 from South Carolina - home of the Coach. Two from North Carolina State - home of team selection member....
Doubt if its a conspiracy, but it has a hint of looking after your own. Barnes almost got Ware on the roster, but couldn't swing it... GO BEAVS!!
