Great stuff. Zero command. ....and perhaps ZERO interest from MLB scouts. If he comes back in 2022 he might be able to resurrect his status as a MLB prospect. At present, he is NOT. Hopefully Abels's early exit after 3 innings in a 1-1 game, where he threw only 68 pitches is the first step toward Kevin NOT being the Beav Friday Night Starter in future games. Great stuff... a plus-plus pitcher to have on the staff - but NOT a Friday Night Starter. |
