Abel: IT's NOT the mound (at Goss). It's KEVIN. HPB / Walks / WP's - he's tremendous at these stats. We love him because of 2018. And his stuff is electric... and his SO ability is tremendous.
But he is NOT a Friday night starter for an elite program in a Power 5 conference. I sure hope that Canham / Dorman find a way to transition him to a Sunday starter. Hjerpe has earned his spot as Friday starter.

Am I crazy in thinking that Abel, as a redshirt Sophomore, might be back with Beavs next year if it's only a 10 round draft this year?  ? Great stuff. Zero command. |

Zero command. ....and perhaps ZERO interest from MLB scouts. If he comes back in 2022 he might be able to resurrect his status as a MLB prospect. At present, he is NOT. |
