How many have we LOB today? How many in scoring position? Beavers are swinging at pitches they should be swinging at and not swinging at bad pitches. Sometimes you just tip your hat to the opposing pitcher for making quality pitches. Zero problem with the Beaver approach today. |

Nice catch by Meckler! Had to cover a lot of ground to get to that one! Ah for the days of Max, and the number of times he made the ESPN top ten on all the misjudged flies he turned into spectacular catches. |

[b Actually, just the opposite, but it worked out. Preston got a bad read at 3rd or Melton would have scored easily. Then Ober mistakenly goes to 2nd. Worked out, but was not what should have happened. |
