First glance, it looks like Aleah has a good shot at making the roster. I am not familiar with the Suns roster/style, but just based on the following: Their current guards are similar height, and Aleah will be one of the bigger guards on their roster. sun.wnba.com/roster/Their best 3pt shooters didn't go over 37%: sun.wnba.com/stats/#?season=2020&seasontype=02&permode=avgIf she can bring anything near what she did at OSU this year, there is a need on their roster for that type of offensive punch. One of the many things Aleah developed in the last year was the ability to get shots off quicker; she no longer needs the time/space she needed 2 years ago - that should help translate to the WNBA.

Yeah! How's that for some truth?! I asked myself why someone would go onto a women’s sports message board and consistently denigrate women’s sports (WNBA, NCAA Tournament). The answers I came up with do not really paint a good picture of the posters personality traits.

I'd love to see it happen but it's probably a long shot. If 4 of the 24 players drafted in the second and third round make the league it will be impressive. I believe we will have 5 former Beavs in WNBA training camps. (Syd, Mik, Aleah, DS, and Marie). I'd love to see at least 2 of them stick for this season. I'd also love to see Jamie Scott get another chance to make a roster.

I wish her the best. She's getting a shot at a roster, which is all she can ask for. I agree her odds of making the cut aren't great. With only 12 WNBA teams, there just aren't very many spots on the rosters available. Tough gig. Even 1st rounder Marie, arguably one of the best 2 or 3 players to come out of the OSU program in the last 10 years, hasn't been able to stick in the league, and she's a very mobile 6'5" .

It looks like they will keep one of the three guards they drafted, if they don't make a trade or sign a free agent. Is it just a straight up competition between those three? If that is the case, Aleah has a shot. Learning the defense quickly might be a big key as well.

Wow, just wow. 🙄 So if I went to the football board to talk smack about how bad football is I'd be ok?

It would be fine with me if that's how you feel. Didn't realize these message boards couldn't include controversial statements.
