You do remember the 8th inning on Friday, right? A complete meltdown of the bullpen....i think they walked in 2 and HBP got another in......that's what lost the game. Had that not happened we go into the 9th tied at 1. Yea we didn't hit Ahlstrum, but at least we had a chance going into the 9th without the collapse of the pen Yes, I remember. I also seem to remember that you can not win a game when you are tied at 1 and you don't score another run. We had a chance in the 9th to score runs and we decided that we were good with our 1 run. The game was over when it was 4-1 going into the 9th.....team was mentally beat |

Dude trust me, I get super frustrated with LOB and not coming thru......it's brutal sometimes, and this weekend was bad.....ducks pitching has OWNED us this year......but the meltdown our pen had was like high school stuff. How do walk in all those runs? I mean hell, at least throw a meatball that they can hit, and take ur chances cuz they sure as hell ain't swingin at s%#t out of the zone when you aren't hitting the zone.....I mean those pen collapses were legendary |

LOB drives me about as nuts as missed FT's....especially missing the front end of a one and one
