I don’t care what anybody says, we’re not a good team. Hope to eat crow, but tougher teams are coming. They probably smell blood. I would.
Yet, I’m a Beaver Believer and will hope for improvement as the season progresses. Will be interesting to see how the team reacts.

Oh well I guess Mully will have to get a 50 pitch win, instead of a 20 pitch save. I'll take it. Wishful thinking. Dangerous with this team. I was wrong. It won't be the last time. Hopefully we turn things around against Cal next week. |

Seriously outclassed by a team that doesn’t even have any. Not sure if "outclassed" is the word that I'd use to describe the losses. Both teams matched up well. Oregon batters had a knack of being able to draw walks that we don't have. Otherwise, on paper, pretty darn equal. Oh, and we seem to leave too many men stranded. None of the games was a blowout or a pounding. Hard fought series. |
