Oh I understand how it happens.....poor defense The only alternative was getting no outs. I’m sure you would’ve thought that was poor defense too. It was really well played by the Ducks Irvine did the same thing to us in the 2013 regional. It's not as uncommon as you think. |

This reminds me of A LOT of years after ‘06 and ‘07. We didn’t play good ball. Had lousy approaches at the plate. We were just a bit better than mediocre for many of those years.
