I think what has many of us concerned is three straight losses to Pac 12 teams. 3-5 loss to Utah last Sunday. 1-4 loss yesterday 1-5 loss today We aren't hitting and Stanford, UCLA, Arizona, and Arizona St have some tough pitchers. It’s natural to be concerned. Who wouldn’t be? But being concerned and predicting a fall to the bottom of the Pac 12 are two different things. Or calling for the coach’s head. Be concerned. Be disappointed. Just leave out the drama. Agree. We aren't at the bottom of the Pac, more like an upper middle "type team." I'm a Mitch Canham supporter for at least 2 more seasons. I believe in giving coaches at least four seasons, before "cutting bait." (unless your name is Gary Andersen)

I missed the part where you gave control to others of what or if people could post. My bad. you missed the part where I created this site, accept the applications for membership, do the bulk of moderating, and know that some people here have new usernames because they couldn’t handle the heat they took from their awful posts or don’t have the cajones to own them under their old username? You missed all that?

We have a lot to be negative about so I'm going to mention something positive. Verberg pitched 2.1 IN with no base runners, 5 K's on a mere 28 pitches. He went through the duck lineup like a butter knife. Well done Mitchell. Well done. enough positivity , why was Verberg is a game that was already lost the way we were swinging the bat. I was hoping we would need him today as a bridge to our closer in a game we might be leading. (dare to dream)

Starting off a coaching career at 1-4 vs. a bitter rival (and not showing a lot of mental toughness in the meantime) is going to bring out the irrational, unfortunately

It’s hard to head to the bottom when you’re actually in second place, with both more overall wins than any other Pac 12 team AND more conference wins than any other Pac 12 team. SMH. If you’re gonna bitch, make sure you understand what you’re talking about. I'll give you Justin Fall for Arizona State. That is shaping up to be ugly. But name a better 1-2 punch in the Pac-12 than Ahlstrom and Kafka for Oregon. Kolby Somers has been playing like a top three closer as well, and #1 is Mully. I wanted Oregon State to hit Ahlstrom, Kafka and Somers better, but they didn't. The team has to put that in the rearview and start preparing for California. The Ducks were a big test, and the Beavers flat out failed. In 2018, after starting out 5-1, Oregon State lost two consecutive road conference series, starting out the Pac-12 slate 7-5. Well, here we are again 7-5 to start the Pac-12 season after a promising 5-1 start. 2018 Oregon State went 13-4-1 in conference to finish second in the Pac-12 and nab a National Seed. If the 2021 Beavers can pull that rabbit out of their hat again in 2021, this could still be a great year. If not:

Ahlstrom and Kafka might be the best 1-2 punch. Abel and Hjerpe if they command the zone can be can be one of the best combos. We actually might be in pretty good shape, the 2 toughest remaining starters look to be Beck(Stanford) and Silseth(Arizona) We'll be able to throw Abel against those two. Abel gives us a chance against anybody. UCLA pitching doesn't look as good as they usually are. I have no idea about Cal, USC, & ASU pitching because I haven't seen any of their games.
